I have the order all painted up, you can see the figures in the Galleries page. Here is the Vermin Lord completed. The second picture is a graphic I made with Paint.net a program similar to Photoshop. So far I'm pleased with the program but have a lot to learn yet.
I have some more progress shot of the Skaven Lord to show. This time I added some browns and greens to the flesh.
Today I'm painting up the Skaven Vermion Lord from Forge World. After watching the tv show Face Off I was inspired to use my airbrush on this figure. For those of you tha don't know, Face Off is a special effects make-up reality show. I've always used an airbrush for paintng figures in a utility kind of way but never a more artistic style. I saw how they were doing things on the show and hopefully learned from them, here is how things are going so far.
The first picture is just the base coat of gray, the second is the base fleshtone a mix of Reaper Ghoul Skin and Imperial Purple. The next is some shading done with a transparent coat of Imperial Purple, thanks Face Off!. The last picture is some transparent coasts of Intense Brown to add some warmth. I still have some highlighting to do and will update more this afternoon.
The skaven are coming along nicely. Here I added some flesh highlights, shaded the damaged flesh and boils, and added the base coat of the fur.
I started on Order 244 a few days ago. Most of the order is Forgeworld Skaven, here is what I've done so far. The first picture is the primed figure then the base coat. Third picture is where I added some shading to the skin tones and the last is the base layer for the radiated areas and blisters.
