Here are some Reaper Miniatures. Piotr Irongale, Hania Ghostmane, and a female rogue from the Pathfinder line.
A few months ago a customer ordered some Pikes from an online retailer and had them sent directly to me. The Pikes are Perry Miniatures PM-X1 according to the packing slip, website, and product package. I liked them so I decided to get some for myself and to complete another painting order. I ordered the same product from the same retailer, a week later the package arrived. When I opened the Pike package (same packaging like the previous one) the product
inside was totally different.
The one on the left is a Pike from the original box the right is from the newer box. My first impression is that I was sent an unfinished product by mistake. The newer Pikes are just wire and still have a curve from being on a spool not the straight wire with a well defined flattened tip. I emailed my concerns and a picture to the retailer asking if I can return them. The retailer replayed that the brass one is from Foundry, Perry’s are white metal. Is the brass one from Foundry? Do Foundry and Perry Brothers use the same packaging and part numbers for their Pikes?
