I painted up few more minis for my Etsy store. An old vampire model pulled from my pile of shame. I have no idea how long this has lingered in my collection but it had the old style green card from Reaper so my guess is mid 90's. The other is a dwarf engineer that was 3D printed by Apache Studio. If you're interested check out my Etsy page.

A year or so ago I joined the Trench Crusade Kickstarter and am now just getting started on my own Trench Pilgrim force. I'm trying some new to me techniques with using oil paints as washes. It takes some restraint for me to do. Normally I paint the different parts of the model all the way then switch a different part. With the oils its best to block in all the main colors then add the wash and finish up the highlights afterwards. It feels wrong at first but trusting the process works out. I still have a good bit of learning to do but here is what I've done so far.
Got to paint up some Guild Ball miniatures! I heard of the game but never got to play it, the miniatures are interesting and were fun to paint up.
The past few years my regular job has kept too busy to do much painting for myself and others. In July I left my job and moved from Tucson to San Antonio with more opportunity to do things I enjoy like painting! My website is pretty outdated so I'm in the process of updating and making some changes.
So 26 years ago I got a box of Chronopia Blackblood Orc Swordsmen from a hobby shop in New Jersey. It's taken me that long to break open that box and paint them! I don't really have an excuse other than I had other things to paint. They are some of my favorite orc sculpts and some of the best (in my opinion) of a rather lackluster range of the Chronopia game. If you would like to add these to your collection I have added them to my Etsy shop.
