From the Trenches

A year or so ago I joined the Trench Crusade Kickstarter and am now just getting started on my own Trench Pilgrim force. I'm trying some new to me techniques with using oil paints as washes. It takes some restraint for me to do. Normally I paint the different parts of the model all the way then switch a different part. With the oils its best to block in all the main colors then add the wash and finish up the highlights afterwards. It feels wrong at first but trusting the process works out. I still have a good bit of learning to do but here is what I've done so far.
